Armin Haller 

I am member of the SWS cluster, one of three research groups at DERI Galway, which I joined in April 2004. I am working towards my Ph.D. under the supervision of Manfred Hauswirth which I am planning to finish in the coming months. My research mainly revolves around workflow ontologies and extensions to business process models that allow one to model views on business processes in order to extract collaboration protocols.

Together with Eyal Oren and Stefan Decker I have been working on the m3pe project. The goal within this SFI founded project was to develop a workflow framework that integrates existing languages in the workflow domain. The project finished it's planned duration in October 2007. Since then I have been working on a project with similar objectives, SUPER. It aims to provide a semantic-based and context-aware framework that acquires, organises, shares and uses the knowledge embedded in business processes within existing IT systems, software, and within employees' heads, in order to make companies more adaptive. Earlier, I was involved in the WSMO and WSMX working groups.
